Eastman AQ polymers are unique modified polyesters that are inherently dispersible in water with no added treatment. They are all low-color, thermally stable materials that can be applied as hot melt adhesives which can be dispersed in water or can be initially dispersed in water and applied as a re-dissolvable waterborne adhesive.

These properties make Eastman AQ polymers ideally suited for applications where adhesive removal after application is required such as re-pulping of paper and plastic and glass recycling. Eastman AQ polymers are compatible with some of the commonly used tackifiers and plasticizers used in adhesive compounding in order to make water-dispersible hot melt adhesives.
