Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Eastman Chemical Company
Stephen G. Crawford is senior vice-president and the Chief Technology Officer for Eastman. He was previously Vice-President, Functional Products Technology for Eastman Chemical Company. In that position, he had responsibility for Coatings, Adhesives and Plasticizers, Fibers and Rubber Additives Technology development. Crawford holds a B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Tennessee.
Tim N. Dell
Vice President, Microfibers, Eastman Chemical Company
Tim N. Dell is vice president of Microfibers for Eastman. Dell received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Michigan State University.
Jon B. Woods
General Manager, Non-Wovens Microfibers, Eastman Chemical Company
Jon B. Woods is General Manager, Non-Wovens Microfibers. He joined Eastman in 1989 and has served in a variety of technical, corporate strategy, and business roles; most recently, he served as Business Director, Adhesives and Plasticizers. Jon holds a Bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering, a Masters degree in Engineering Science and Mechanics, and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
C. Todd Williams
Global Business Manager, Microfibers Platform, Eastman Chemical Company
C. Todd Williams is business manager for the microfibers platform at Eastman. He was involved in the inception of the microfibers initiative; he then led the polyolefins business within Eastman’s Adhesives and Plasticizers organization. Williams has a background in the fibers, nonwovens and composites industries, and he received a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Clemson University.
James A. Michalski
Manager, Strategy & Portfolio Processes, Eastman Chemical Company
James A. Michalski has responsibilities for managing, strategy and portfolio processes for the microfiber nonwovens and performance fabrics platforms at Eastman. For several years, he has been working to develop new product platforms using existing and developmental technologies. Over the past 20 years, he has held roles in innovation, marketing, business development, technology and sales. Prior to Eastman, Michalski was a U.S. Navy submarine officer. He has been a member of the Association for Managers of Innovation, a community of practice centered on creativity and innovation, since 1999.
Dr. David J. Allen
Director, Fibers & Microfibers Technology
Dr. David J. Allen is Director, Fibers & Microfibers Technology. He joined Eastman in 1990, and has served in a variety of technology roles for Eastman, both in Kingsport and internationally. David earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Roanoke College, and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
