| | Product Description | Heatwave is a clear, reheat enhanced, PET polyester designed for heatset containers containing a UV light protection package chemically bound to the backbone of the polymer. Pellets are 2.5 mm (0.1 inch) cubical shaped. This non-extractable UV inhibitor absorbs damaging wavelengths of light, protecting the contents of the package. Heatwave has unique features that enable blow molding exceptionally thermally stable containers for the hotfill industry. Developed for food-contact containers, Heatwave polymer meets applicable FDA regulations for hot-fill containers.
