Injection molding is a manufacturing process in which a thermoplastic resin is forced into a mold cavity under pressure. The mold cavity is constructed as the inverse geometry of the part to be produced. The molten resin freezes in the mold cavity following injection and cooling cycles, and a solid part is ejected from the mold.
Applications: Fragranced personal care product containers; perfume caps; cosmetic jars; lipstick containers; compacts - Shatter resistant perfume and lipstick containers, caps, and thick-walled jars
