Our employees are a vital part of our health care strategy because the way employees buy care can directly effect healthcare costs the most. Eastman offers its employees the tools to not only buy care today, but also allows them to save for health care expenses they may incur in the future.
Comprehensive Healthcare Plan
Eastman offers employees and their families comprehensive healthcare coverage which includes medical care and pharmacy. With a focus on prevention and savings, participants can receive 100% coverage on many preventive services and have a tax-advantaged health savings account that can be used for eligible health care expenses now or later, even in retirement. Similar to a 401(k) account, the health savings account is portable and can earn interest. Employees can contribute to their accounts, and the company matches a percentage of those contributions, up to specified limits. The company also contributes a specified amount each year. For convenience, participants may use a debit card to access their account.
Dental Plans
A choice of dental options are provided—both emphasize preventive care, including checkups and teeth cleaning and also cover a portion of the costs of restorative care and orthodontia. The difference between the two plans is the level of reimbursement for services and the monthly premium cost you pay.

Eastman offers an Integrated Health program that focuses on improving the health and productivity of Eastman people. We provide services that address the entire continuum of health needs, from people who are living a healthy lifestyle to those who have life-threatening conditions. Eastman's commitment to improving the health and well-being of our employees was rewarded by being the winner of the 2005 Wellness Councils of America's Gold Award.
