The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) recognized Eastman's successful corporate-wide energy management strategies, programs, achievements, and partnership with ENERGY STAR. Eastman is one of 40 organizations selected for this award from about 20,000 ENERGY STAR partners.

The ACC honors specific projects that have achieved distinction in reducing energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions. For the 19th consecutive year since the program began, Eastman was recognized for the following projects that save over 737,000 MMBtus and 337,000 tons of greenhouse gas emissions annually—enough energy to eliminate greenhouse gases from over 60,000 cars.
