- Submit your resume. Complete your resume online at www.careers.Eastman.com (nice to have direct link to careers). You may either submit your resume for a specific position or submit your resume for a future job opening. All resumes are entered into our automated resume database system which makes your resume immediately accessible to recruiters at all of our U.S. sites. Your skills and interests will be considered against current and projected openings for all domestic Eastman locations. We will keep your resume in our active file for two years.
- Your resume matches. During pre-screening, if it is decided that your resume matches our job qualifications, you will receive via email, employment forms to complete so that we can further view your qualifications (i.e. Eastman Application for Employment, Voluntary Self-Identification form, and Background Check Authorization Release form). We may also request that you mail us your educational transcript, by completing these forms, you will give us insight into your academic achievements, your professional experiences, your motivations and professional aspirations.
- Telephone Interview. Once we receive and review your completed employment forms and there is a match between your qualifications and the job, you may be contacted for a telephone interview. During the interview, the discussion will center on the position, your skills and qualifications. The purpose of the call is to give you as much information about the position and its prospects as well as answer any questions that you may have about the position. After the telephone interview, if you are still a match for the position, you will be invited to the site for an interview.
- On-Site Interview. Your visit will consist of a full-day of one-on-one interviews with the area hiring manager as well as managers from within the selecting department. These one-on-one interviews will help explain the position, check your technical skills, provide input on the work environment and to answer any additional questions you may have. A decision to offer employment will be determined by all the interviewers who you met.
- You are selected. The recruiter will contact you to make you a job offer. Once your acceptance is received, arrangements will be made for your report to work.
- On-Boarding. You will receive a welcome letter that will include your employment date as well as information regarding on-line required pre-employment forms that you will need to complete prior to your first day of work. On your first day of work, you will meet with the HR Staffing team that will provide you with additional information as will as help get you set for your career with Eastman.
