- Apply for job. Complete job application online at www.careers.eastman.com for your specific job position.
- Pre-screening. Your resume/application will go through a pre-screening evaluation to determine if it matches the job qualifications. During this process you may receive an email request for your educational transcripts.
- Telephone Interview. Once we review your completed employment forms (transcripts, references, etc.), you may be contacted for a telephone interview. During the interview, the discussion will center on the position, your skills and qualifications. The purpose of the call is to give you as much information about the position and its prospects as well as answer any questions that you may have about the position. The interview will be structured to give us insight into your academic achievements, your professional experiences, your motivations and professional aspirations. After the telephone interview, if you are still a match for the position, you will be invited to the site for an interview.
- On-Site Interview. Your on-site visit may consist of a full-day of one-on-one interviews with the area hiring manager as well as managers from within the selecting department. These one-on-one interviews will help explain the position, check your technical skills, provide input on the work environment and to answer any additional questions you may have. A decision to offer employment will be determined by all the interviewers with whom you meet.
- Selection. The recruiter will contact you to make you a job offer. Once your acceptance is received, arrangements will be made for your report to work date.
- On-Boarding. You will receive a welcome letter that will include your employment date as well as information regarding on-line, pre-employment forms that will need to be completed prior to your first day of work. On your first day of work, you will meet with HR Staffing to complete your sign-up and help you get prepared for your career with Eastman.
