Student Programs

Eastman's student programs for cooperative education and internships offer practical application of academic course work. The projects completed offer valuable experience and make a real difference in Eastman's continued success.
The programs include the following:

  • Cooperative education for students majoring in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical engineering.
  • Internships are typically offered in the summer to students in the following areas:

    - Engineering (chemical, electrical, mechanical, and industrial).  Most engineering internships are offered to participants in our Eastman Scholars Program.  If more positions are available than scholars, we will accept resumes.  To determine if your school is involved with the Eastman Scholars Program, please check with the chemical engineering department and/or the minority engineering office at your university.  For graduate student engineering summer internships, please check with your university’s chemical engineering or chemistry department to determine if they partner with Eastman for opportunities.

- Non-Engineering Internships are typically offered in the summer to undergraduate students in the areas of Accounting, Information Technology and Supply Chain among others.  In addition, Eastman also recruits MBA students in the areas of Finance and Marketing as well as students studying to receive a Masters of Accountancy (MACC).

If you would like to be considered for future opportunities, please visit the Recruiting Events page at www.careers.eastman.com to see the upcoming university recruiting events Eastman will be attending.  You can also check with your university’s career services office and/or the co-op office to determine if/when Eastman will be visiting campus.
