Eastman employees and their families have an exclusively dedicated team of health advisors - including nurses, dieticians, clinicians, counselors, and other specialists - who will listen, understand their needs, connect them to resources, and help them find solutions. The Personal Health Team offers a single point of contact from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. EST, with medical guidance available 24/7.

The Personal Health Team is at the center of Eastman's broad network of health resources, helping people make HealthE Connections. The Team will be able to assist with the following and much more:

• Decide what medical care is best, and learn what treatment options are available. 
• Get 24/7 support for medical care guidance, like how to treat a child's high fever. 
• Better balance work and life with help to find counseling services, senior housing, or even pet care. 
• Be well in body and mind with support for mental health, substance use, and emergency crises. 
• Get answers to questions about benefits and navigating the health care system.

The Personal Health Team will use medical claims information and Health Risk Assessment results, and other shared information, to gain insight into personal needs. With this information they can help people:

• Identify health risks early and create a plan to address them before they become serious conditions
• Identify stress triggers and better cope with and reduce stress 
• Maintain good eating habits, and manage or lose weight
• Quit tobacco, including free over-the-counter nicotine replacement therapy if needed
• Better manage chronic health conditions (heart disease, asthma, high cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes, migraines, depression, and more).

Eastman Medical Services
Eastman Medical Services is an integral part of HealthE Connections. They help keep employees at work while they interact with their doctors and they work with employees to get them back to work when they have had to be away due to illness or injury.

The approach of HealthE Connections is to partner with Eastman Medical to focus on bringing even more consistency of practice across sites. The medical staff at of all our sites are committed to being sure that Eastman employees get the appropriate care at the right time in the right place.
