Training and Development
Eastman has a dedicated training and development group focused on building the skills and knowledge of employees through classroom courses, online courses, just-in-time training, and other training and development resources. In addition, our Performance Management Process has a development component that encourages employees to plan development that will help increase their performance and meet individual goals. Such development could include anything from attending a conference or workshop, to being mentored by another employee.

Development Assignments
Employees can grow within their current job, through stretch assignments and cross-functional project work, or through rotational assignments in different areas.

Tuition Aid
The tuition aid program provides financial assistance to employees who choose to further their education with degrees that will enhance their skills. It's open to all full-time Eastman Chemical Company employees with at least one year of service. The plan provides reimbursement of eligible expenses for approved degree plans related to your current or future job responsibilities.

Leadership Development
Eastman's Leadership Development Process encourages additional, targeted development for current and future leaders. Such development includes growth through the methods mentioned above, but focused more on the leadership of an employee. In addition, a succession planning process ensures that individuals are prepared to move into leadership positions.
