Classroom Grants

Eastman awards a maximum of 28 classrooms grants of $750 each to selected teachers involved in the Putting Children First partnership. These grants are intended to promote innovative teaching strategies and classroom programs which improve student learning and performance in the area of math and science.

In order to apply, you must be a teacher of a participating PCF school. For a complete listing of eligible schools, search Partnering Schools.  Judging criteria and guidelines are specified on the Grant Application Form. Applicants may either mail (hardcopy) or email applications to the addresses provided on the grant application form by September 28, 2012. Please include your email address on your application. PCF grant winners will be announced online by November 12, 2012. Grants will be awarded on November 26, 2012 at a special ceremony held at the Eastman Lodge located at Bays Mountain in Kingsport, TN.

All teachers awarded a PCF grant must complete and submit the PCF Results Form by the end of the current school year to show measureable results/improvements in the classroom. If the results form is not submitted by the deadline date, a two year penalty will be imposed before the applicant can reapply for a PCF grant.
