TN/VA Scholars is a business led regional rewards and recognition program designed to encourage students to complete high school courses that provide a fundamentally sound academic education.

Eastman Scholar Mathletes is a collaborative partnership between Eastman and East Tennessee State University’s Center for Excellence in Math and Science Education.

GEM4STEM (Growing Educational Mentors for Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)
GEM4STEM is a new program that allows Eastman employees to volunteer as mentors for students through numerous educational activities bringing relevance to the classroom.

8th Grade Career Expo
The 8th Grade Career Expo is intended to expose students to a variety of occupations and topics including: health sciences, human services, media relations/communications, engineering/manufacturing, finance/banking, industrial/technology, work ethics and internet safety awareness. 

11th Grade Career Expo
The 11th Grade Career Expo is an extension of our 8th Grade Career Expo challenging students to think about career goals and opportunities. 

Newspapers In Education
N.I.E. (Newspapers In Education) is a Kingsport Times-News newspaper delivery program that places newspapers in classrooms across the region through sponsorships of businesses/corporations.

Surplus Equipment
Eastman occasionally has equipment or materials that it no longer needs, but that schools can use. Items are donated on a first-come, first-serve basis.
