Hazardous Waste Indexed to Production — (Without Biosolids)

Goal: Reduce hazardous waste (indexed to production) by 15% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 0.0056 kg waste/kg production in 2010.

Progress: Our 2013 hazardous waste totaled 0.0057 kg waste/kg production, an increase of 1.6%.

Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) — (Tons)

Goal: Reduce nitrogen oxide by 20% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 10,847 tons in 2010.

Progress: Our 2013 nitrogen oxide emissions were 11,265 tons, an increase of 3.8% compared to our baseline of 10,847 tons.

Sulfur Dioxides (SO2) — (Tons)

Goal: Reduce sulfur dioxide by 40% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 22,828 tons in 2010.

Progress: Our 2013 sulfur dioxide emissions were 21,707 tons, a decrease of almost 5% compared to our baseline of 22,828 tons.

Volitile Organic Compounds (VOC) — (Tons)

Goal: Reduce total Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) by 15% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 7,504 tons in 2010.

Progress: Our 2013 VOC emissions were 7,380 tons, a decrease of 1.6% compared to our baseline of 7,504 tons.

Reportable Releases — (Releases Reported by Number)

Goal: Reduce total number of reportable releases by 25% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 61 release events in 2010.

Progress: In 2013, we had 41 reportable release events, 32% decrease compared to our baseline of 61.

Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) Emissions*

Goal: Reduce Toxic Release Inventory (TRI) emissions to the air by 25% from 2010 to 2020 against a baseline of 5.4 Mlb in 2008.

Progress: Our 2012 TRI air emissions were 5.1 Mlb for a 5.6% decrease compared to our baseline of 5.4 Mlb.
