Eastman’s Wildlife Habitat
Program exhibits six plots in the demonstration forest that illustrate a
variety of forest management practices, including reforestation, thinning,
wildlife, and a "control" plot where no particular practices are employed.
This area can be visited by non-industrial forest landowners in the region
who want to see these practices in-place to give them ideas for management
on their own properties. The ability to see a variety of management
practices in one location is valuable in assisting forest landowners to make
informed decisions. |
