Eastman's Nature Trail is an easy 0.6-mile loop through the forest. Along the trail, you will pass various markers that identify specific trees native to the area. You can use the Project Learning Tree (PLT) Environmental Education Guide, or the curriculum listed on the Education page throughout the trail. Try one or more of the listed activities for your grade. They are geared to increase awareness, appreciation, understanding, skills, and commitment to forestry and related environmental issues. The PLT Guide is provided to all attendees of the Walk in the Forest workshop held at the Nature Center each year.
