Texas Operations donated materials for an Eagle Scout project. Wayne Butler (son of Eastman employee, Steve Butler), coordinated the design and construction of two trash can and water cooler holders for Eastman’s Nature and Wildlife Habitat Center. Wayne is a Life Scout with Troop 618 in Longview. Construction labor was provided by several other Scouts and adults in the troop. The holders were constructed away from the Nature and Wildlife Habitat Center and then delivered to the Center.

Mr. Butler’s Scoutmaster was Jim Bass, and the Scouts that helped were Dustin Willis, Matt James, Brandon Farmer, Chad Stone, and Eric Jenkins This is an excellent example of dedication and teamwork.
