Which food grade antioxidants are best suited for general applications?
 
For general applications, Tenox TBHQ and Tenox PG (propyl gallate) are the preferred antioxidants for vegetable fats and oils. Tenox BHA and Tenox BHT are effective in animal fats and butterfat. For specific applications, see Eastman publication ZG-262.
