Eastman Tritan™ copolyester raises eyebrows in housewares by raising the standard for dishwasher durability. Dishwasher durability is a combination of three factors – all highlighting clear advantages for Tritan™:

• Hydrolytic stability – Tritan™ resists degradation and stress cracking in hot, wet dishwasher environments, even with cleaning solutions, surfactants and alkaline cleaning agents.
  
  
• Chemical resistance – Like traditional copolyesters, Tritan™ has excellent chemical resistance properties, which allows it to maintain its physical properties when exposed to a broad array of foodstuffs, residential and commercial detergents, and sanitizers.
