As differently as designers and scientists approach a challenge, they bring a shared curiosity and passion for discovery. That's why one of the most exciting developments since the launch of Eastman Tritan™ copolyester in 2007 has been the collaboration effort between Eastman and Ziba, one of the world's top design firms.
The winning design, called the TOPO flask, honors the topography that is an important visual and sensory theme of the flask. It was designed to combine the appreciation of rich character of heritage objects and ingredients with the functionality and cleanliness of modern design. Equally important for this challenge, the TOPO flask could not be designed and successfully produced with any material other than Eastman Tritan™ copolyester, a polymer that delivers differentiating properties:
Dramatic thick-to-thin walls
Fine embossed details
Molded-in pouring spout
Exceptional chemical resistance
Total design flexibility
Ease of production
