Clark L. Jordan
Vice President, Interim Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, Eastman Chemical Company

Clark Jordan is Vice President, Interim Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary of Eastman Chemical Company. Clark has responsibility for Eastman’s Legal, Corporate HSES, Corporate Security, and Global Trade Compliance organizations. He also serves as Corporate Secretary.

Jordan graduated with honors from Emory & Henry College with B.S. degrees in physics and applied mathematics in 1986. Jordan went on to graduate-level nuclear engineering studies and to serve as an officer on a United States Navy nuclear submarine. Following his Naval service, Clark earned a J.D. with honors from Notre Dame Law School in 1995.

Jordan joined Eastman upon graduation from law school as a commercial and environmental attorney. After departing Eastman in 1997, he was a partner in the Charlotte office of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton, LLP and later North America Regional Deputy General Counsel and Compliance Officer for Clariant Corporation, a Swiss specialty chemical company. Jordan rejoined Eastman on February 21, 2011 as Director Global Business Conduct and Senior Business Counsel and has held positions of increasing responsibly thereafter. Jordan assumed his current role on August 1, 2019.

Jordan serves on the Board of Visitors of Quillen School of Medicine at East Tennessee State University and is the former chair of the Ethics and Compliance Council at the Manufacturers Alliance for Productivity and Innovation (MAPI). Jordan is a member of TRACE International and American Corporate Counsel Association.
