Enhance Your School Efforts with these Resources

For the past 25 years, the Good Sports Always Give Back program, which is sponsored by Eastman, Food City and Waste Connections in conjunction with the University of Tennessee, has encouraged Big Orange fans to reduce their footprint at UT sporting events.

Fans are encouraged to recycle their waste both inside and outside the university’s athletic facilities by placing items in the designated bins instead of in the trash to help the university reach its zero-waste goal at these events.

Additionally, the Good Sports Always Give Back program is designed to raise awareness in Tennessee K-12 schools about the importance of being environmental stewards and contributing to the well-being of their communities.

Good Sports School Challenge

Good Sports Always Give Back honors schools across Tennessee for their efforts to incorporate environmental stewardship programs into their schools and communities. Each year since 1993, Good Sports Always Give Back has recognized schools by awarding exceptional schools with a monetary prize and a special celebration at a UT home football game where they are recognized on the field during the game.
