Product description
Eastman Cristal™ One MR is a copolyester designed to be fully compatible with the PET recycling stream. Thus, it enables brand owners to achieve recyclable cosmetics packaging that is tough and exhibits good chemical resistance. It is suitable for molding thick-walled transparent containers or parts (up to 9mm thickness), while maintaining clarity and color. For ISBM applications, Cristal One MR is recommended for thicker luxury bottles with complex shapes.</br></br>Cristal™ One MR meets the definition of resin identification code #1 (RIC1) as defined by the California Assembly Bill (#906) and by ASTM D7611, Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) as well as European PET Bottle Platform (EPBP). Other end-product attributes, including but not limited to size, color, auxiliary components, and availability of collection, may also impact recyclability.
