Move expands reach of Eastman’s heat transfer fluid line into Greece

KINGSPORT, Tennessee

Eastman and Krahn Chemie GmbH (KRAHN) have enjoyed a successful relationship for several years. Krahn, based in Athens, Greece, distributes various Eastman products across central and eastern Europe. The parties have recently amended their distribution agreement to expand the market for Eastman’s heat transfer fluids (HTF) in southeastern Europe. The amended agreement allows Krahn to distribute Eastman’s Therminol® and Marlotherm® product series throughout Greece. These fluids are developed for the indirect transfer of process heat in a range of single- or multiple-use heat-using systems. They offer excellent thermal stability and precise temperature control with little maintenance.

“Therminol and Marlotherm set the pace in the heat transfer fluids market, and this agreement will help Eastman customers across Greece gain access to products with proven performance,” said Sharon Dunn, general manager of specialty fluids and energy for Eastman. “It’s a win-win for Eastman, Krahn and everyone these great companies serve. We are confident that the Krahn team will offer customers in Greece the same high-quality technical support and service as in other European countries.”

As a certified provider of HTFs, Krahn will bring the power of Eastman’s new Fluid Genius fluid monitoring platform to its customers. Contact Eastman to learn more about taking a sample and accessing Fluid Genius.
