Product description
Benzoflex™ 172 is an alkyl benzoate ester with low odor, low color, low viscosity and excellent compatibility with PVC. Benzoflex™ 172’s principal use is as viscosity reducer and plasticizer for PVC plastisols applications. It provides an excellent balance of plasticizer efficiency and viscosity reduction in these systems. It also has good low temperature properties as a raw material and as an additive. Benzoflex™ 172 may also be used in other applications that require a low viscosity, high solvating plasticizer. These include polyurethane and lubricating oil formulations.
