The need to combine the functional with the aesthetically pleasing is what led Joseph Joseph to specify Eastman Tritan™ copolyester for their latest kitchen sensation – a rotary peeler with a straight blade for vegetables, a serrated blade for soft fruits and a julienne cutter.

By using Eastman Tritan™ copolyester, Drinique was able to injection mold both thick and thin walls in its design, making the drinkware more aesthetically appealing and durable, with improved insulation. Manufacturing with Tritan allowed Drinique to reduce energy consumption and greenhouse gases, bringing a more eco-friendly product to market compared to products manufactured with polycarbonate (PC).

Previously manufactured with polycarbonate (PC), Beer Tubes™ switched production to Eastman Tritan™ copolyester because the attributes of the material provide advantages for customers. For example, the tubes and taps do not craze or whiten after everyday use and repeated exposure to dishwashing detergents. Additionally, Tritan allows Beer Tubes™ to offer customers a BPA-free alternative.

Adagio Teas switched production of the ingenuiTEA teapot from polycarbonate to Eastman Tritan™ copolyester due to the material's BPA-free qualities. In addition, Tritan is heat- and chemical-resistant, so the ingenuiTEA will not crack, craze or whiten after exposure to dishwashing environments, allowing the teapot to maintain its clarity so users can easily see when the steeping process is complete. Also, because Tritan is tough and lightweight, the ingenuiTEA teapot provides an aesthetic, functional way to brew tea at home or while traveling.
