Eastman Nature Center (Longview)

Welcome

Eastman's Longview Operations facilities in Texas occupy less than 20% of the company's 6,000 acres. The unused acreage supports a rich ecosystem of hardwood, pine forest, and water bodies. It’s also home to a wide variety of native animals and plants and is an important stopover point for many migrating birds.

A clearing in the forest is surrounded by trees.

Our commitment

Eastman recognizes the impact our operations have on the surrounding ecosystem, and we’re committed to protecting the wildlife and plants that call Longview home.

This commitment is a key part of our Responsible Care® and sustainability efforts, and we partner with numerous local, state, national and international organizations to enhance our Nature and Wildlife Habitat Program. We are currently recognized as a Conservation Certification Gold site by the Wildlife Habitat Council, and we continue to partner with other organizations to promote environmental education and healthy habitats.
