Dimethylamino-2-propanol (DMA 2P) is available as a colorless liquid with an ammoniacal odor. DMA 2P has the lowest boiling point of any available alkanolamine.</p> <p>DMA 2P is used as neutralizing agent in both cooling and boiler water. This product has the lowest boiling point of any available alkanolamine, it tends to be used where a significant presence of amine in the gas phase is required.</p> <p>DMA 2P is also used as a precursor in the pharmaceutical industry.</p>
