That’s why we’re developing a biodegradable alternative to traditional, less sustainable microparticles. Eastman’s high-performance cellulosic powder is naturally derived¹ and freshwater biodegradable. It can be produced from up to 95% renewable and certified feedstock, achieved through sustainable wood pulp and allocation of recycled waste material². Eastman manufacturing also uses a closed-loop and solvent-free micronization processes to minimize waste and reduce overall environmental impact.
