Solus 1175 performance additive, food contact

Eastman Solus™ 1175 performance additive, food contact is designed to deliver on the high performance expectations required of ink and metal packaging formulations. Supplied as a low-odor, free-flowing powder, it is especially adaptable for use in UV printing inks, UV clear overprint varnishes and UV metal packaging coatings. </br></br> </br></br> UV cure films formed from Solus™ 1175, food contact exhibit fast solvent release, excellent anti-blocking properties, and grease resistance superior to that of other film-formers. </br></br> </br></br> Solus™ 1175, food contact offers formulation convenience and ease of handling. When dissolved in appropriate solvents, a clear, colorless solution is produced. Eastman Solus™ 1175, food contact is based on cellulose, one of Earth's most abundant natural renewable resources. </br></br> </br></br> This product is manufactured, stored, handled and transported by Eastman under conditions adhering to current Good Manufacturing Practices for food contact applications. This product meets requirements for use in certain food contact applications under regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR), European Commission (Regulation 10/2011) and the Switzerland Ordinance of the FDHA on materials and articles intended to come into contact with foodstuffs (817.023.21, Annex 10).
