<b>Premixture</b></br>Eastman ProGIT SF2 contains organic acids and their calcium salts. At a lower pH, more of the calcium salts will turn into their respective acids which have a preservative effect.</br></br>Eastman ProGIT SF2 prevents the growth of harmful bacteria in the feed and improves the quality and shelf life. Moreover, organic calcium salts are more soluble and have a lower Acid Binding Capacity (ABC) compared to limestone. This in return will lower the ABC of the feed and, indirectly, may lead to a better natural acidification in the stomach and reduce the stomach pH.
