Eastman Trēva™ engineering bioplastic for cosmetics packaging

With a truly viable biobased material, cosmetics brands can now create sustainable products that don’t compromise on performance.

Put a better face on your brand.

Now, brands no longer need to compromise between performance, aesthetics, and finding more sustainable solutions. Ideal for opaque and color-tinted packaging, Eastman Trēva™ engineering bioplastic gives cosmetics brands what cosmetics give us—confidence.

Made from trees

Trēva is a cellulose-based plastic that offers performance similar to acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) but with lower environmental impact. Sourced from sustainably managed forests, its flowability and dimensional stability empower designers and molders to create intricate thin-walled parts that other thermoplastics can’t handle, reducing waste.

Greater sustainability

Trēva is a biobased material with 45% biocontent—significantly higher than most other bioplastics. It’s sourced from sustainably managed, renewable forests with certification from the Forest Stewardship Council. As a lightweight and versatile bioplastic, BPA-free Trēva also exhibits excellent flow properties, which helps reduce waste on the manufacturing floor . . . or in landfills.

Make it amazing.
