Sustainable solutions without compromise

Eastman now offers a range of sustainable solutions for eyewear that has been broadly adopted by the industry over the past few years. Using molecular recycling technologies, these materials are composed of certified* recycled and biobased content.

As part of the Eastman Renew portfolio, these sustainable alternatives offer identical properties to heritage materials that Eastman has been providing to the industry for decades, meeting eyewear sustainability goals without compromising design or performance.

Style and performance

Eastman’s eyewear materials—Acetate Renew, Tritan™ Renew copolyester, and Tenite™ Renew propionates—provide vibrant colors and are developed for wearer comfort. We test our materials for resistance to common cleaning fluids, sweat, and suntan lotions. Our plastics are tested to ensure their durability in daily use.
