Eastman introduced Naia™ Lyte, a new cellulose acetate filament yarn, at the Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics spring/summer exhibition in March 2026. This latest addition to the Eastman Naia™ portfolio represents an important milestone in performance for lightweight and premium fabrics.

An immersive technical reveal
The Naia™ booth at Intertextile featured an immersive sensory environment where the international textile community could experience the fiber’s unique properties firsthand. The centerpiece — a cascading fabric installation — highlighted the fabric’s signature ultralight hand and silklike aesthetic combined with a notable advancement in tensile performance. This balance allows for the creation of delicate, lightweight fabrics that support a wide range of applications.
