Eastman Tritan™ copolyester also proved that it was tough enough to stand up to repeated residential dishwasher cleaning cycles – hot, wet environments often containing aggressive cleaning chemicals.

These visuals compare PC parts, clearly showing cracking at less than 10 cycles, with parts made from Tritan™, which continued to exhibit clarity and functional integrity beyond 100 cycles, when the researchers terminated the testing.
