A better choice for single use

There’s a more responsible alternative to traditional plastics in disposable food service products — and it’s available now. Eastman Aventa™ compostable materials offer a much-needed option to improve the environmental profile of single-use items like cutlery and straws. Compostable and biodegradable Aventa will return to the earth — without remaining as microplastics.

Also available as Aventa Renew with certified recycled content,* Aventa is biobased and sourced from sustainable wood pulp. Items made with Aventa look and perform like their traditional counterparts but, once disposed of, can break down in soil. Choose an option that will make a change for the better by choosing Aventa.
