Food contact safe

PET Renew does not introduce harmful or perceptible substances into beverages. Eastman assesses its raw materials and molecularly recycled PET grades in accordance with the latest U.S. FDA and EFSA requirements. On request, we provide documentation of compliance with EU and U.S. food contact regulations supported by testing and risk assessment principles.

Reuse durability and wash-cycle resistance

Packaging made from PET Renew retains structural integrity, clarity and sealing for 15 to 25 refill cycles. We offer tailored resin formulations and intrinsic viscosity (IV) control as well as support for wash‑cycle trials and abrasion testing.

Clarity and visual quality

PET Renew delivers virgin transparency with high‑clarity grades and controlled haze/tint options to maintain consistent optical quality.

Mechanical and processing reliability

It offers consistent IV, heat stability, impact resistance and dimensional control for reliable blow and injection molding, neck finishes, label fit and crate compatibility.

Recyclability and recycled content traceability

PET Renew supports credible recycled content claims from hard‑to‑recycle feedstocks. We supply chain‑of‑custody documentation, recycled‑content certificates and tailored sustainability data.
