Eastman Tritan™ copolyester is a new-generation copolyester with a balance of properties that delivers differentiating durability and flexibility for smart cards. Compared to polycarbonate, Tritan delivers excellent flex crack resistance for cards, but offers more process features. For example, shorter card lamination time enables compatibility with adhesives for IC chips. Tritan also enables longer card life with fewer replacements which results in greater customer satisfaction and savings for the producer.
